Chelsea Estebo graduated Magna Cum Laude in the Honor’s College with a degree in Finance/Real Estate. During her Junior year, she decided to skip a (free) Spring Break trip to California to obtain her real estate license and join a well-known local brokerage, Murney Associates. After spending several years as an agent, she transitioned to a role as an Escrow Officer and Office Manager with Hogan Land Title. She recently decided to come full circle and is currently a Mortgage Loan Specialist with Springfield First Community Bank, where she processes and closes home loans.
Chelsea has worked in nearly every facet of the industry dealing with contracts, titles, and lending. Having personally purchased four homes over the last several years, she can provide plenty of tips and tricks when navigating the complex home buying process.
While at Missouri State, Chelsea participated in the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. She enjoys spending time with her family, including an active 2-year-old. She also enjoys trying new local restaurants, volunteering, having a leadership role in the children’s program at The Courageous Church, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs!
She can also be found leading various budgeting classes in the community based on Dave Ramsey’s principles. Buying a home can be stressful, but knowledge is power when it comes time to purchase your first investment!

A Springfield native, Tim Prater has been involved in the financial services and banking industry for over 25 years. During that time frame, he has worked his way up from a teller to a Loan Officer. He has also worked in financial services as a Financial Advisor, branch management operations, and at one time managed a small title company.
Having originated his first home loan in 1995, Tim uses his experience to help clients identify the loan that best fits their life, whether that’s purchasing a home or refinancing one. When asked what he loves most about being a lender, he shares, “I love that no two days are the same. Each day allows me to marry my love of numbers to my love of people. It’s a great day when clients take the first step toward owning a piece of the American Dream.”
Tim earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Missouri State University in 1994. As a student, he was involved in the Financial Management Association, Phi Eta Sigma, and the Student Alumni Association. Immediately following graduation, Tim worked as a Financial Advisor after receiving his Series 7 license.
Tim is a military veteran, having served as a medic in the U.S. Army. He is also active in the community as Board Vice President for the Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation serving a 10-county area, as well as a volunteer for the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, CoxHealth and Springfield Public Schools.
